    WatchGuard Firewall XTM Basics

    WatchGuard Firewall Basics with Fireware offers an introduction to network security concepts using our award-winning WatchGuard System Manager software and our revolutionary Fireware appliance software. The course concentrates on installation, configuration, and management of a Firebox X Core or Firebox X Peak model with Fireware appliance software. Learn how to create a basic security policy with the Fireware Policy Manager, control logging and notification, and build custom activity reports. This course is intended for the user new to WatchGuard hardware and software.

    Pre-requisite

    Before attending the class, you need a general understanding of basic networking concepts including network topologies, IP addressing, and subnets.

    Three days.

    Participants receive a student course guide, which includes training materials presented during the class as well as hands-on lab exercises used in the course.

      Using SpamBlocker to stop unwanted e-mail
    • Virtual Private Networking
      Setting up mobile users for VPN � SSL/IPSEC/PPTP MUVPN

    Class cost is $2,585.00. You may also purchase a voucher to take the Firewall Basics with Fireware technical certification exam for $165.00 ($195.00 from WatchGuard directly) Seats are reserved with a $500.00 deposit and full payment must be made 10 days in advance of class. You may pay by ACH(taking your check over the phone), credit card or Corporate Check.
